I understand how immensely difficult grief can be and you are not alone. My own lived experience with profound loss and grief has informed my work and I have supported many people going through the grieving process.

Whether it is the sudden loss of someone we loved deeply or the loss of something we cared about, grief is a unique process that shows up differently for each of us. I approach grief with deep respect for your unique experience and the pace at which you move. 

My Approach to Grief Therapy

My goal is to offer a grounding, caring presence so you don’t have to navigate that pain alone. Grief isn’t something we can “fix” or rush through but rather something we learn to carry, understand, and integrate. 

Grief therapy can help to:

  • Feel less alone and talk about our feelings and pain

  • Make space for all the emotions we might have 

  • Cultivate self-compassion and acceptance

  • Learn healthy coping skills 

In our work together, we create space for the full range of what you are  feeling, such as sadness, anger, numbness, confusion, even relief or guilt. All parts of you and all feelings are welcome.

Because grief affects the body as much as the mind and heart, I use an integrative approach that might include somatic awareness, mindfulness, and gentle grounding to help you stay connected to yourself as you move through waves of emotion or pain.

There is no timeline or right way to grieve. Our work is about helping you stay connected to yourself and find compassion for your process. We may explore the story of your loss, the relationship you’re grieving, and the meaning this loss holds in your life.

Over time, we work toward integrating the loss into your ongoing life in a way that honors your connection while also allowing space for growth and healing.
