Depression Therapy

Have you been feeling down or struggling with persistent sadness, fatigue, or a sense of worthlessness?

Depression can show up differently in every individual and range in its severity, from a single mild depressive episode to a recurrent severe depression. Some examples of common symptoms of depression include the following:

  • Persistent sad or irritable mood

  • Loss of interest or pleasure in most activities

  • Excessive fatigue or lack of energy

  • Difficulty concentrating or making decisions

  • Low self-esteem, worthlessness, or hopelessness

  • Problems with sleep or appetite

My Approach to Depression Therapy

My first priority is creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, safe, and not alone with what you’re feeling. Because my work is integrative, I draw from a range of modalities including:

  • Evidence-based strategies (DBT, CBT, and ACT)

  • Mindfulness therapy

  • Psychodynamic therapy

  • Parts work

  • Somatic therapy

Together, we might explore the deeper emotional or relational patterns contributing to your depression, work with parts of you that feel stuck or hopeless, and learn practical skills to help regulate mood and feel better. I often incorporate somatic awareness, grounding, and mindfulness practices to help you reconnect with your inner resilience.
